Description
Product Description:
The microphone sound sensor, as the name says, detects sound. It gives a measurement of how loud a sound is. Sound modules are sensitive to the environment, generally used to detect the intensity of the ambient sound. The digital output OUT on the small plates can be directly connected to the microcontroller, detecting the sound environment via the microcontroller detecting high and low level. The digital output OUT on the small plates can directly drive relay module, which works as a voice-activated switch.
The LM393 Microphone Sensor Module is a versatile and compact electronic module designed to detect sound and provide a signal output indication. This module features a single-channel signal output, with the output signal being an effective low-level signal.
When there is sound in the surrounding environment, the module’s output is triggered and produces a low-level signal, which is indicated by the activation of the signal lights. This makes it suitable for applications such as acoustic control lighting systems or as part of sound and light alarm systems when combined with a photosensitive sensor.
Measuring approximately 32mm in length, 17mm in width, and 15mm in height, this module is compact and easy to integrate into various electronic projects. It is powered by a working voltage range of DC 3-5.5V, providing flexibility in power supply options.
The main chip used in this module is the LM393, known for its reliable performance and precise sensing capabilities. It is complemented by an electret condenser microphone, which ensures accurate sound detection.
With a net weight of only 3g, this lightweight module is convenient for applications where size and weight are important considerations.
Please note that the maximum induction distance for this module is 0.5M, making it suitable for detecting sound in a limited range.
The LM393 Microphone Sensor Module offers a simple yet effective solution for sound detection and integration into various electronic systems, providing a reliable and compact solution for sound-responsive applications.
